This past weekend we ventured to another beautiful waterfall in the magestic mountains in our backyard. Edworthy Falls is a hidden gem and the hike offers stunning views all around. The first 1.5km is a steep climb to Elbow Lake, but once at the lake the views are totally worthwhile. Around the lake there is a campground and picnic tables. Some were fishing in the lake while others enjoyed a picnic. The falls are 20 metres to a turquois pool and very beautiful. The trail to get down to the falls is very steep and single track, but you can still view them from the top if you are not comfortable going down.
