The magnificent mountains surrounding us offer a variety of beautiful trails which are short drive for us and we enjoy them every weekend. Ribbon Creek trail is 8.8 km one-way to Ribbon Falls and another 2 km to Ribbon Lake. The first 8 km of this trail is a beautiful valley hike surrounded by the massive cliffs of Mt. Kidd and Mt. Bogart. There is a campground at the foot of the Ribbon Falls; however, to get to Ribbon Lake and the Ribbon Lake Backcountry Campground from Ribbon Falls, you must climb a cliff with two sections of chains to assist, which we don't do with the dogs.
